Recent Events

DRD celebrates 100th International Women's Day 7th March 2011.
   As we celebrate 100th Women's day we even promote equality at work for women. As we know that even today women are paid lesser wages as compared to men for same type work done in the rural sector. They have to make an extra effort to gain recognition/promotion in the Corporate world. We hereby promote Right to Equal pay for Equal work.
DRD welcomes new ILO Code of Practice on safety and health in agriculture.
   Agriculture is one field where the real danger lies. Snake bites, falling in pits, allergies, abnormal temperatures and weather conditions etc. All these collectively challenges the Standards of Working conditions. ILO Code of Practice on Safety and Health in agriculture can be guiding light for monitoring working conditions for agriculture workers globally. DRD looks forward to its official release.
DRD promotes World Day for Safety and Health at Work - 28 April 2011.
   The 2011 World Day for Safety and Health at Work focuses on the implementation of an Occupational Safety and Health Management System (OSHMS) as a tool for continual improvement in the prevention of workplace incidents and accidents. DRD invites you to join us in promoting this important day.
DRD's participation in Business Responsibility and Public Good Talk.
   Talk on Business Responsibility and Public Good jointly organized by Business and Community Foundation (BCF), Deutsche Gesellschaft for Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and India International Centre (IIC).
DRD's participation in the International Consultation on Child Labour.
   Participated in the International Consultation Roadmap 2016 and The Garment Manufacturing Sector organized by Global March Against Child Labour on 11th May, 2011.
